BeenStamp for iOS

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 8, 2026  ·  Last updated: June 8, 2026

Short version

BeenStamp does not collect, sell, or share your personal data with third parties. Your travel records stay on your device.

1. What we collect

BeenStamp stores all data locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults and the app’s sandboxed storage. We do not operate servers that receive your travel data.

2. Photo library access

If you use the photo scan feature, BeenStamp reads GPS metadata from photos you select to suggest countries you may have visited. Photos are processed entirely on-device — no image data is sent anywhere.

If you use the share feature, BeenStamp saves your travel map to your photo library. This requires the “Add to Photos” permission only.

3. Analytics & advertising

BeenStamp contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking code. We do not track usage behavior.

4. Map data

The world map is loaded from jsDelivr CDN (a public TopoJSON dataset) on first launch, then cached on your device. This network request contains no personal information.

5. Children’s privacy

BeenStamp does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app contains no user accounts or data submission forms.

6. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and post the new policy at this URL.
